Hey friends, I know every once in a while we’re looking for budget friendly activities to do, especially on Valentine’s Day! Sometimes, you don’t feel like going out and spending an arm / a leg to have fun, and that’s okay! Personally, I feel like doing something that’s free or low cost can be just as fun, so I put together a little list of some great date ideas for you and your significant other to do this Valentine’s Day, enjoy!!

1. Bake together! Have a romantic dinner at home.
This is a great thing to do on the weekends if you feel like spending some quality time together but don’t necessarily want to go out / spend lots of money. Look up an affordable recipe online, run to the grocery store, buy some wine, and have yourself a nice cozy dinner at home.
2. Netflix Binge!
This is one of my favorite things to do, find a good series on Netflix, get comfortable on the couch with some popcorn and there’s your date night in!
3. Game Night!
Get some cards out, some board games, and have a game night at your place. Fun and free if you already own those games!
4. Have a picnic in the park.
Pack up some food from home into a picnic basket and head out to a local park for some one on one time, that way you’re still getting outside but not spending any money at all.
5. Forget dinner, just go share a dessert together!
Go to a local ice cream parlor or restaurant and split a dessert, this is so much more affordable than going out for a dinner but just as fun.
6. Go on a hike and explore!
Get outside and just get active, no need to spend any money for this.
7. Host a pot luck.
Invite a group of friends over, where everyone contributes to bringing one dish or some drinks!
8. Take a drive.
Simply getting together and going down a scenic route can be just as fun, pack some snacks and you’re good to go.
9. Visit a museum for the day!
Not all museums are pricey, you can find some good ones with a low admission cost, and explore for the day together.
10. Have a Spa Day at home!
Get some lotion and massage oils out, light some candles and dim the lights. Spa day at home is definitely a great way to spend the day at a low cost.
